We are always looking to buy antiquarian books, children's illustrated books, books on architecture, art, history, natural history, occult & esoterica, Scottish interest, collectable first editions, limited editions, leather bindings, signed books, Folio Society, private press, hand-written manuscripts and letters of importance, pre-1945 postcards, prints, engravings, maps, ephemera. We also buy interesting curios and antiques.

Books designed by Talwin Morris, Ethel Larcombe and Albert Angus Turbayne ~ Pictorial stamped cloth books from the 1840-1920 period in good clean condition ~ fine leather bindings ~ books illustrated by Arthur Rackham, Kay Nielsen, Willy Pogany, Edmund Dulac, Rie Cramer, Mabel Lucie Attwell, Katharine Cameron, Jessie M. King, Hugh Thomson, Charles Folkard, Harry G Theaker etc ~ Any fairy tales dating earlier than 1930, particulary The Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen, Charles Perrault etc ~ Any Gothic novels

We do not buy the following books : law & politics, encyclopaedias, modern dictionaries, paperback books (unless important first editions, proof copies, or signed), toddler books (unless pre-1945, coffee table books, and books published by Reader's Digest and Heron Books
